Our Pastoral Care Worker provides support to students, staff, and families on Thursdays and Fridays in their role as PCW at Jervois Primary.

They provide caring support to both individual and groups, also working with children in the classroom. Our PCW is available at recess and lunch times for a chat and  organises some activities or chill out sessions for our students to enjoy.

Room 4 doubles as an additional learning area and Wellbeing Room; a space for students to catch up with our PCW for a chat or some group time.

A Breakfast Program is held on designated mornings during the week, supported by Foodbank. Our PCW and Wellbeing Leader will provide this for students who may have missed their breakfast or just need an extra bite to eat in the morning before school starts.

Our PCW also offers support to staff, students & their families if needed in times of grief, family crisis or concern.
